October through April offers the most comfortable weather for families, with temperatures between 70-85°F. Visit early morning (7-10am) or late afternoon (4-7pm) to avoid peak heat. Avoid Fridays when locals typically have their weekend and the beach is most crowded.

Entry is free to the public beach. Paid parking is available along the Corniche (3-5 AED per hour). Cafes and food kiosks are located along the promenade, but bringing your own snacks and plenty of water is recommended. Restrooms and changing facilities are well-maintained and accessible.

While open year-round, May through September can be extremely hot (100°F+) and humid, making beach visits challenging with young children. Early mornings are essential during summer. The cooler months (November to March) are peak season with perfect beach weather. During Ramadan, be respectful of local customs and dress modestly.

The Corniche promenade features numerous family-friendly restaurants including Catch, a seafood restaurant with kids menus, and Cafe Bateel offering fresh juices and light bites. For a quick option, several cafes and ice cream shops line the waterfront walkway.
