The path is free to access with multiple entry points and parking areas throughout Puch. Bring your own bikes or rent them in advance from Salzburg city. The path is mostly paved and stroller-friendly, though some sections may have gravel.

Best enjoyed April through October when weather is mild and days are longer. Winter visits are possible but paths may be icy or snow-covered, making cycling challenging. Spring brings beautiful wildflowers along the banks, while autumn offers spectacular foliage colors.
