Entry is completely free and the park is open 24 hours. No on-site parking lot exists, so street parking is your only option and fills quickly, especially weekends. Bring all food and drinks as there are no cafes or facilities within the park itself, though public toilets are available.

Open year-round with peak crowds during Australian summer (December to February). Summer weekends can be extremely busy with locals and tourists. Winter (June to August) is quieter and still pleasant for playground visits, though ocean swimming requires a wetsuit. School holidays (mid-December to late January, two weeks in April, July, and September/October) bring larger crowds.

Walk 5 minutes south to Bronte Beach for family-friendly cafes like Bronte Road Bistro and Three Blue Ducks, both offering kids' menus and outdoor seating. Alternatively, head back toward Bondi (10-minute walk) for countless casual dining options including fish and chips shops, gelato, and cafes along Campbell Parade.
