De Aardehoek - sector 3

De Aardehoek is a wonderful community garden in Jette where children can get their hands dirty while learning about sustainable farming and local food production. Most active and accessible from April through October when planting and harvesting happen. Winter visits are possible but offer limited activities. Special harvest events often occur in late summer and early fall.

Head to nearby Jette center (about 1km away) for family-friendly cafes and friteries (chip shops). The Simonis area, a short tram ride away, has various restaurants including pizzerias and brasseries with children's menus.
