Swiss Science Center Technorama

The Swiss Science Center Technorama is an interactive wonderland where kids can touch, experiment, and explore over 500 hands-on exhibits covering physics, technology, and natural phenomena. Unlike traditional museums, children are encouraged to get involved with everything from lightning demonstrations to optical illusions, making science come alive through play and discovery.

Entry is affordable at approximately 30 CHF for adults and 19 CHF for children (credit cards accepted). The museum has a cafeteria and picnic areas, free parking on-site, and is wheelchair accessible throughout most exhibit areas.

The outdoor park exhibits are best enjoyed May through September in warm weather. Indoor exhibits operate year-round. Special science shows and workshops often run during Swiss school holidays.

The on-site Technorama cafeteria offers pizza, sandwiches, and kid-friendly meals at reasonable Swiss prices. In Winterthur center (5 minutes by car), Restaurant Frohsinn serves traditional Swiss fare with a children's menu in a family-friendly atmosphere.
