The park is free to enter, though the cable car requires a separate ticket (approximately 100 RMB roundtrip). Restrooms are available but may be basic squat-style toilets. Bring cash as many vendors don't accept foreign cards.

Autumn (late October to early November) features stunning red maple leaves but draws massive crowds, requiring patience and early arrival. Spring offers comfortable temperatures and blooming flowers. Summer can be hot and humid for hiking. Winter is cold but less crowded with occasional snow creating beautiful scenery.

The park has small snack vendors selling drinks and basic items. For proper meals, head to nearby Fragrant Hills Hotel area (5 minutes by taxi) where you'll find Chinese restaurants with picture menus. Alternatively, bring a picnic as the park has many scenic spots perfect for family lunch breaks.
