Sha Tin Park is a spacious riverside oasis offering families a perfect blend of active play and relaxation in Hong Kong's New Territories. Admission is completely free and the park is open from 6:30 AM to 11 PM daily. Restroom facilities are available, and the park is stroller-friendly with paved pathways throughout.

Open year-round, but summer months (June to August) can be extremely hot and humid. Winter (December to February) offers mild, comfortable weather perfect for outdoor activities. The park may be busier during Chinese New Year and public holidays.

New Town Plaza shopping mall, connected to Sha Tin MTR station, offers dozens of family-friendly restaurants including Café de Coral, Yoshinoya, and McDonald's. For local flavor, try the dim sum restaurants in Sha Tin Town Centre Plaza, about 10 minutes' walk from the park.
