Admission is completely free and the reserve is open 24 hours. There are no facilities on site, so plan accordingly with snacks, water, and restrooms before arriving (available in nearby Ismaning town center).

Accessible year-round, but spring and early summer offer the best wildflower displays and bird activity. Winter visits can be beautiful but dress warmly. Trails may be muddy after heavy rain or snow melt.
