Late spring through early fall (May to September) for swimming and water play. Weekday mornings are quietest, while weekend afternoons buzz with family-friendly energy. Avoid Saturday afternoons in July and August when the park is most crowded.

Admission is completely free. Street parking is available but limited, so use public transport (U-Bahn to Fraunhoferstraße is closest). No on-site cafes, so bring snacks and drinks, though there are shops nearby on Wittelsbacherstraße.

Swimming is only practical from June through August when water temperatures are comfortable. Spring (April to May) offers beautiful blooming landscapes but chilly water. The park remains open year-round, and autumn colors are stunning, though playgrounds may be wet. Winter visits are quiet but cold.

Mural Farmhouse Kitchen on Fraunhoferstraße (10-minute walk) serves family-friendly international dishes with a kids menu. For traditional Bavarian food, Zum Klosterbräu has child portions and a relaxed atmosphere welcoming families.
