The park is open year-round, but summer (July and August) can be very hot with limited shade in some areas. Spring brings beautiful blooming flowers, while autumn offers mild temperatures perfect for cycling and picnicking. Winter visits are pleasant but bring layers for cooler temperatures.

The park has several cafes and kiosks, with Casa Mingo (famous for roast chicken and cider) located just outside the park being a local favorite. For a sit-down meal, head to the nearby Principe Pio shopping center which has multiple family-friendly chain restaurants and a food court.
