Gulliver park

Gulliver Park is an absolutely magical free playground where kids become tiny Lilliputians climbing all over a massive 70-meter-long Gulliver figure lying on the ground. The entire structure is designed as an interactive climbing adventure with slides emerging from Gulliver's hair, ramps up his arms and legs, and tunnels throughout his body, making it one of Valencia's most unique and beloved family attractions.

1. 1.Arrive early (10:00-11:00 AM) or after 5:00 PM to avoid midday heat and crowds, especially during summer months when the surfaces can get very hot.
2. 2.Wear closed-toe shoes with good grip as kids will be climbing extensively. Avoid flip-flops or sandals for safety.
3. 3.Located in the Turia Gardens (former riverbed), the park is easily accessible by metro (Alameda station is closest) or bike along the gardens' excellent cycle paths.
4. 4.Bring water and snacks as there are limited vendors nearby. Plenty of shaded picnic areas surround the playground in the gardens.
5. 5.The playground surface is rubberized for safety, but consider bringing a small first-aid kit and band-aids just in case of minor scrapes.

Visit on weekday mornings (Tuesday-Thursday, 10:00-11:30 AM) for the smallest crowds. Spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) offer the most comfortable temperatures. Avoid midday visits in summer when metal slides and rubber surfaces become too hot.

Completely free admission with no tickets required. The playground is located within the expansive Turia Gardens park system, offering plenty of green space for picnics. Bathrooms are available in the park, though basic public facilities.

Open year-round with consistent hours. Summer can be extremely hot, making metal surfaces uncomfortable during midday. Winter offers mild temperatures perfect for play. The park may close temporarily during heavy rain for safety reasons.

The Turia Gardens have several cafes and kiosks scattered throughout. For a proper meal, head 10 minutes north to the Russafa neighborhood which offers numerous family-friendly tapas bars and restaurants with outdoor seating, or visit the nearby Nuevo Centro shopping mall which has multiple casual dining options including international chains kids recognize.
