Sentier du Littoral

Visit in spring (April to May) or early fall (September to October) when temperatures are mild and comfortable for hiking with children. Weekday mornings offer the most peaceful experience, while summer weekends can get crowded with both tourists and locals.

The trail is completely free to access and open year-round. Parking can be limited in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, so arrive early or use public transportation. There are no facilities along the trail, so plan bathroom breaks before starting. Some sections have steep drops to the water, so keep close supervision of younger children.

The trail is accessible year-round, but summer (July and August) can be extremely hot with little shade, making it less comfortable for children. Winter offers mild temperatures but shorter daylight hours. Spring brings beautiful wildflowers along the path. Occasional sections may close temporarily due to weather or maintenance, so check locally before setting out.
