1. 1.Note the very limited hours: only Sunday mornings (10:00 AM to 1:30 PM) and Saturday afternoons (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM). Plan your Budapest itinerary accordingly as the farm is closed weekdays.
2. 2.The address shows Veresegyház, not Gödöllő, so use the exact address (Veresegyház, Patak u. 48/d, 2112) for GPS navigation. It's about 30-40 minutes from central Budapest by car.
3. 3.Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Bring hand sanitizer or wipes as handwashing facilities may be basic.
4. 4.Consider combining your visit with the nearby Gödöllő Royal Palace, one of Hungary's most impressive baroque palaces, for a full day trip.
5. 5.Very little English may be spoken, so download Google Translate on your phone or learn a few basic Hungarian phrases like 'köszönöm' (thank you).

Sunday mornings are ideal as kids are fresh and energetic, and you'll have the full 3.5-hour window to explore. Arrive right at opening (10:00 AM) to avoid any weekend crowds and enjoy cooler temperatures during summer months.

Entry is budget-friendly ($ price range), and the venue is very affordable for families. Parking is available on-site. Bring cash in Hungarian forints as card payment may not be accepted, and facilities are basic and rustic.

Best visited spring through early fall (April to October) when weather is pleasant for outdoor activities. Winter visits are possible but may be cold and muddy. Call ahead during extreme weather as hours may vary.
