1. 1.Start your walk early morning (6-7am) to avoid the heat and enjoy cooler temperatures with misty valley views. The trail can get hot and exposed to sun mid-day.
2. 2.Bring plenty of water and snacks as there are limited vendors along the route. Reusable water bottles are essential since shops are mainly at the trailhead.
3. 3.Wear proper walking shoes or sneakers. Though paved, some sections can be uneven or slippery after rain.
4. 4.Park near the starting point at Warwick Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa or Karsa Kafe. Arrive by taxi or hire a driver who can drop you at one end and pick you up at the other.

Visit early morning between 6-8am for the coolest temperatures, fewer crowds, and beautiful sunrise views over the valley. The dry season (April to October) offers the most reliable weather, though the walk is accessible year-round. Avoid midday heat (11am-2pm) when the sun is strongest and the path offers little shade.

The walk is completely free with 24-hour access. No facilities or restrooms are available along the trail itself, so plan bathroom breaks before starting at nearby cafes. Bring cash for water or snacks from occasional vendors at the trailhead.

The trail is open year-round, but the dry season (April to October) offers the best hiking conditions with less mud and rain. During wet season (November to March), expect afternoon rain showers and potentially slippery paths. Early mornings are ideal regardless of season. The landscape is greenest during and just after the rainy season.

Karsa Kafe at the northern trailhead serves Indonesian and Western kid-friendly dishes in a beautiful garden setting with play areas.
