Visit on weekday mornings (Tuesday through Thursday) between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM for smaller crowds. October through March offers the most pleasant weather, avoiding Delhi's intense summer heat. The evening musical fountain show (included with entry) is spectacular but draws larger crowds.

Entry to the temple is free, but exhibitions and boat ride cost extra (budget around 170 rupees per person). Food is available at the on-site vegetarian cafeteria. Note that the venue is closed on Mondays and strict security screening applies.

Best visited during cooler months from October to March when temperatures are comfortable for walking outdoors. Summer months (April to June) can be extremely hot with temperatures exceeding 40°C (104°F). The complex may have special programs during major Hindu festivals like Diwali.

The on-site Premvati Food Court offers affordable vegetarian Indian meals perfect for families. For more variety, head to nearby Akshardham Metro Station area where you'll find family-friendly restaurants like Bikanervala (Indian sweets and snacks) and multiple options in the nearby malls.
