Idroscalo is best visited from May through September when water activities are in full swing and weather is warm. Swimming areas and water sports rentals typically operate from late May to mid-September. The park remains open year-round for walking and cycling, but most family amenities close during winter months.

Head to the nearby town center of Segrate (5 minutes by car) where you'll find family-friendly pizzerias like Pizzeria Ristorante Segrate with outdoor seating and kids menus. Alternatively, the shopping center Carosello (10 minutes away) offers multiple chain restaurants with familiar options and high chairs.
