Spring (April to June) and early fall (September to October) offer the best weather with comfortable temperatures for walking and the most active wildlife. Weekday mornings are quietest, while weekends see more local families and cyclists. Avoid midday summer heat.

This is a completely free outdoor trail open 24 hours, but facilities like restrooms and food are not available along the path, so plan accordingly. The flat, paved surface is stroller and wheelchair accessible for most sections.

Best visited April through October when weather is pleasant and wildlife is most active. Spring brings blooming flowers and nesting birds. Summer can be hot with limited shade. Winter visits are possible but may be cold and muddy after rain.

Head to Abbiategrasso (5km away) for family-friendly trattorias and pizzerias. The town center has several cafes with outdoor seating and gelato shops perfect for post-walk treats.
