Admission is completely free, though small offerings and fortune purchases cost 100-500 yen. The shrine is about a 20-minute walk from Kawagoe Station or a short bus ride. Restrooms are available on-site, and while there are no food vendors at the shrine itself, many family-friendly restaurants line the streets leading to it.

Cherry blossoms bloom in late March to early April, creating stunning photo opportunities. The famous Enmusubi Wind Chime Festival runs from July through August and is the most popular time to visit. Fall foliage in November adds beautiful colors to the grounds. The annual Kawagoe Festival in October brings the area to life with traditional floats and performances.
