Most venues are stroller-accessible on main paths, though some galleries have stairs.

Open year-round, but winter (December-February) can be very cold for outdoor walking. Some outdoor installations may be less accessible in snowy conditions. Cherry blossom season in April brings extra beauty but also larger crowds.

The village itself has numerous themed cafes and restaurants including pizza places, Korean barbecue spots, and dessert cafes with kid menus. For a unique experience, try one of the book-themed cafes that combine dining with browsing children's books.
