This is a free public beach with limited facilities, so plan accordingly by bringing your own supplies, shade equipment, and refreshments. Changing facilities are basic, and there are few formal restaurants directly on the beach, though street food vendors often appear in evenings.

The southwest monsoon from May to September brings rougher seas and frequent rain, making December to March the optimal visiting period. During monsoon season, swimming may be unsafe due to stronger currents and waves.
