Visit weekdays from October through April for smaller crowds and pleasant weather. Arrive right at opening to maximize your day and experience popular attractions like the underground rivers before they get busy. The park is open year-round.

Admission is pricey but all-inclusive covering most activities, shows, lockers, and snorkel gear. Food and drinks are extra unless you purchase the Plus package. The park is massive with lots of walking, so bring a stroller for younger children or plan rest breaks.

Open year-round. December through April offers the best weather with less humidity and rainfall. Summer months (June to September) can be hot and rainy but less crowded. Special Day of the Dead celebrations happen in late October and early November.

The park offers multiple restaurants and buffets inside (additional cost without Plus package). Nearby Playa del Carmen, 10 minutes away, has countless family-friendly options including El Fogon for authentic tacos and La Cueva del Chango for fresh Mexican cuisine in a kid-friendly garden setting.
