1. 1.Arrive at opening (8:30 AM) to experience underground rivers before they get crowded and bring rash guards or water shoes since you'll be in the water frequently.
2. 2.The all-inclusive package covers multiple buffet restaurants, so plan a midday break for lunch and rest in air conditioning to recharge before afternoon activities.
3. 3.Rent a locker near the main entrance to store dry clothes, towels, and valuables since you'll be wet most of the day.

Visit on weekdays (Tuesday through Thursday) to avoid weekend crowds, arriving right at opening for the best experience. The dry season (November through April) offers the most comfortable weather, though the park operates year-round. Plan to stay until evening to see the incredible cultural show, which starts around 7 PM.

Admission is expensive but all-inclusive, covering most activities, lockers, snorkel gear, life jackets, and multiple restaurant buffets (alcohol costs extra). The park is massive and involves significant walking, so wear comfortable water-friendly shoes. Most signs and staff are bilingual, making it accessible for English speakers.

The park is open year-round, but the dry season (November to April) offers the most pleasant weather with less rain and humidity. Summer months (June to September) can be hot and humid with afternoon rain showers, but also less crowded. Special holiday events and themed shows may occur during Christmas and Day of the Dead celebrations.

All-inclusive buffet restaurants are included throughout the park, but if staying in Playa del Carmen, try family-friendly La Cueva del Chango for fresh Mexican breakfast before your visit, or El Fogon for authentic tacos after a long park day.
