Beach access is free, though you may pay for sun loungers (15-25 RM) if desired. Numerous restaurants and convenience stores line the main road. Public restrooms and changing facilities are available at hotels along the beach for a small fee (around 2-3 RM).

Monsoon season runs from April to October with occasional afternoon rains and rougher seas. Some water sports may be suspended during heavy weather. The driest months (November to March) offer the most reliable beach conditions. Chinese New Year and school holidays bring larger crowds.
