Best experienced spring through autumn (March to November). Summer months (July-August) can be extremely hot for walking, so very early morning visits are essential. Winter (December-February) is mild but some plants may be dormant.

Head to the Konyaaltı Beach area (15 minutes away) where you'll find numerous family-friendly restaurants along the promenade offering Turkish pide, grilled meats, and international options with sea views. Many have children's menus and play areas.
