Al Ain Zoo

Al Ain Zoo is a sprawling, world-class facility that offers families an incredible opportunity to see over 4,000 animals including endangered Arabian species in beautifully landscaped habitats. Entry costs approximately 30-35 AED for adults and 10 AED for children (roughly $8-10 USD for adults, $3 for kids). The zoo has restaurants, cafes, and snack stands throughout, plus nursing rooms and family-friendly facilities. Strollers are allowed and recommended given the size of the grounds.

The zoo is open year-round, but the cooler months from October through April offer the best experience. During Eid holidays and UAE school breaks, expect larger crowds. Special events and educational programs are often scheduled during winter months when tourism peaks.

Al Ain Oasis is a short drive away with several family-friendly restaurants, or visit Green Mubazzarah Park which has picnic areas and basic food facilities. Inside the zoo, there are multiple dining options including the Mercado Restaurant and various snack kiosks serving international and local cuisine.
