Historic Blakeley State Park

Historic Blakeley State Park transforms American history into an outdoor adventure your kids will actually enjoy. Admission is budget-friendly at just $5 per person (kids under 6 are free). Parking is free and plentiful, but there are no food concessions on-site, so bring your own snacks and water. Restroom facilities are available near the visitor center.

The park is open year-round, but summer visits (June through August) can be very hot and humid. Spring brings beautiful wildflowers along the trails, while fall offers cooler hiking weather and occasional living history events. Check the park's calendar for special Civil War reenactments and educational programs, typically held in spring and fall.
