Admission is completely free, making this an excellent budget-friendly option. There are no restrooms or food services on site, so plan accordingly. The preserve is closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, so double-check hours before your visit.

Spring brings wildflowers and higher water levels in the creek, making it especially scenic. Summer can be hot and humid, so mornings are essential. Fall offers beautiful foliage and cooler hiking weather. Winter visits are possible but dress in layers as temperatures can be chilly.
