Tours are guided only and last about 45 minutes to an hour inside the cave. The venue is closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, so plan accordingly. Limited food options on-site mean you may want to pack snacks or plan a meal nearby.

Open year-round with consistent cave temperatures making it an ideal destination during hot summers or rainy days. Holiday hours may vary, so call ahead during Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks. Spring and fall offer the most comfortable outdoor temperatures for before and after your cave tour.

Pack a picnic to enjoy on the grounds, or head to Childersburg (about 10 minutes away) for family-friendly chain restaurants and local diners. For a quick bite, there are several fast-food options along Highway 280.
