Spring and fall offer the most comfortable weather for outdoor exploration. Summer (June-August) can be extremely hot, making morning visits essential. The zoo operates year-round, with winter (December-February) being quieter but pleasant with mild Mediterranean temperatures.

Konyaalti Beach area, about 10-15 minutes away, offers numerous family-friendly restaurants serving both Turkish cuisine and international favorites like pizza and grilled meats.
