Open year-round, but most enjoyable from April through October when weather is warm and vendors are consistently present. Summer months (June-August) can be very hot during midday, so plan accordingly. Winter is quieter but still pleasant for walks.

The Oba district has numerous family-friendly Turkish restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the promenade. Look for local pide (Turkish pizza) shops and kebab restaurants that welcome families and offer familiar options like grilled chicken and fresh bread.
