Weekday mornings (Tuesday-Thursday, 10 AM-12 PM) offer the best experience with fewer vehicles and hungrier, more interactive animals. Avoid weekends and summer afternoons when it's crowded and animals may be less interested in feeding.

Note the location discrepancy: despite the name, this park is actually in Eagle Rock, Missouri (not Little Rock, Arkansas), about 50 miles from Eureka Springs. The drive-through experience is done entirely from your vehicle, with feed buckets available for purchase at the entrance.

Open year-round with varying hours. Weekend hours (Saturday-Sunday) start earlier at 9 AM, while Friday has reduced hours (12-5 PM). Spring and fall offer the most comfortable temperatures, while summer visits can be hot with windows down. Animals may be less active during peak summer heat.

The park is in a rural area, so plan to pack snacks or drive into Eureka Springs (about 30 minutes away) for family dining options like Local Flavor Cafe or Ermilio's Italian Home Cooking.
