Brinton Desert Botanical Garden

This 55-acre desert botanical garden offers families a unique opportunity to explore the beauty of native Sonoran Desert plants through winding trails, seasonal exhibits, and hands-on family programs. October through April offers the most comfortable weather for exploring with kids. Spring (March-April) is especially beautiful when desert wildflowers bloom. Visit early morning or late afternoon to avoid peak heat and crowds, especially on weekends.

Spring (March-May) showcases spectacular wildflower blooms and is the most popular time to visit. Summer visits require extra precautions due to extreme heat. The garden may have reduced hours during peak summer months (June-August), so check ahead. Holiday events and special exhibits are often scheduled during cooler months.
