This park is completely free with ample parking available. No food vendors on-site, so pack snacks and drinks. The facility is well-maintained with restrooms available, and the paved paths are wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Best visiting season is fall through spring (October-April) when temperatures are mild. Summer visits are possible but plan for early morning or evening hours only. The desert landscape blooms beautifully in spring (March-April) after winter rains.
