Admission and parking are completely free. Public washrooms are available within the park. While there's no on-site food service, the park has excellent picnic facilities, so bringing your own snacks is recommended.

The wading pool operates from late June through early September. The rose garden is most spectacular from June through September. Winter visits are pleasant but dress warmly, as the park is fully accessible year-round with beautiful views in every season.

Columbia Street (a 5-minute drive) offers family-friendly options including The Old Spaghetti Factory and Piva Modern Italian, both with kids' menus. For casual bites, head to nearby Uptown New Westminster for pizza and cafe options.
