Spring (March-May) offers the most comfortable weather and blooming wildflowers, making it ideal for nature walks. Visit on weekday mornings to enjoy a peaceful experience, or weekend mornings if you want to see the park buzzing with families and community activities.

Parking is free but can fill up on sunny weekends. Restrooms are available near the main picnic areas. No food concessions on-site, so pack snacks and water, though water fountains are available throughout the park.

Summer can be extremely hot (90-100°F), so morning visits are essential. Fall brings beautiful foliage along the trails. Winter may see occasional trail closures after heavy rain. The park hosts seasonal events through the Nature Center, including summer camps and holiday nature walks.
