Admission is free. Street parking is available but limited on weekends. No food concessions on-site, so pack snacks and plenty of water for both kids and pets. The beach is completely off-leash, so children must understand basic dog safety.

Open year-round with consistent hours. Summer can be very hot and crowded on weekends. Winter months offer milder crowds but cooler water temperatures. The beach is always accessible during posted hours regardless of season.

Head to nearby 2nd & PCH shopping center (5 minutes away) for family-friendly options like Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar (ironically dog-themed!) or Panera Bread. The Beachwood Brewing on 2nd Street offers outdoor patio seating where well-behaved dogs are welcome.
