The promenade is completely free to access and stroller-friendly throughout. Parking is available near Estoril Casino and along the beachfront, but fills quickly on weekends. Several cafes and ice cream shops line the route, and public restrooms are available near the main beaches.

Open year-round, but summer (June to August) brings warm weather and crowds. Winter months can be windy and cooler but still pleasant for walking. The promenade is beautiful during spring when flowers bloom along the pathway. Occasional Atlantic storms may make the walk less enjoyable in winter.

Santini Estoril offers excellent Italian gelato perfect for a treat after your walk, with outdoor seating overlooking the ocean. For a sit-down meal, Monte Mar restaurant near Tamariz Beach serves kid-friendly Portuguese dishes including fresh fish, pasta, and chicken with high chairs available.
