Stromovka Park (Královská obora)

1. 1.Enter from the Vystaviste (Exhibition Grounds) side for easiest access to playgrounds and amenities. The tram stops at Vystaviste are very convenient for families.

3. 3.Pack a picnic as food options inside the park are limited. There are plenty of benches and grassy areas perfect for spreading out a blanket.
4. 4.Rent bikes or bring scooters to cover more ground. The park's flat, paved paths are excellent for families cycling together, and rentals are available near the Vystaviste entrance.

Visit on weekday mornings or early afternoons for fewer crowds and the most peaceful experience. Spring (April to June) and early fall (September) offer the best weather, with beautiful blooming trees in spring and colorful foliage in autumn. Summer weekends can get busy with locals, but the shade from mature trees keeps it comfortable.

Admission is completely free. Public restrooms are available near the main entrances and playgrounds. While there are a few kiosks selling snacks and ice cream in summer, bringing your own food and drinks is recommended for longer visits.

The park is open year-round and beautiful in every season. Spring brings cherry blossoms and baby ducks, summer offers lush greenery and outdoor events at the nearby Vystaviste, fall features stunning foliage, and winter can be magical with snow (though playgrounds may be less enjoyable in cold weather). Some facilities like kiosks operate primarily April through October.

The adjacent Vystaviste (Exhibition Grounds) area has several family-friendly restaurants and cafes including bistros and pizza spots. For a Czech experience, try one of the traditional beer gardens near the park entrance, which welcome families and serve kid-friendly options like schnitzel and fries.
