The park is completely free to enter and open year-round from dawn to dusk. There are minimal facilities, so bring your own snacks, water, and any supplies you need. Public restrooms are limited, so plan bathroom breaks accordingly.

The park is beautiful in all seasons but most enjoyable April through October. Spring brings blooming flowers and baby ducklings, summer offers full shade and lush greenery, and autumn features gorgeous fall colors. Winter can be cold and muddy, though some families enjoy the peaceful, snowy atmosphere for short walks.

Head to Cafe Jedna in nearby Letna (10 minutes away) for excellent coffee and kid-friendly Czech dishes, or try Vytopna Railway Restaurant where a model train delivers food to your table, delighting children. For casual options, the Vystaviste exhibition grounds at the park's edge has seasonal food stalls and a few cafes.
