Entry is completely free with no facilities on site, so come prepared with food, water, and appropriate outdoor gear. The reserve is accessible by public transport from Kolín town center, though having a car makes it easier to reach the trailheads.

The reserve is accessible year-round, but spring and autumn offer the most comfortable hiking conditions. Summer can be hot with more insects, while winter visits require proper cold-weather gear. Trails may be muddy or snow-covered in winter months (December to February).

Head back to Kolín town center for family-friendly options like Restaurace U Kata (traditional Czech cuisine with outdoor seating) or Pizza Coloseum (familiar favorites for picky eaters). Both are approximately 3 km from the reserve.
