October through March during the winter migratory season offers the best bird watching opportunities. Visit early morning on weekdays to avoid crowds and catch birds at their most active. Avoid midday heat, especially in summer months.

Entry is completely free, but there are no restrooms, food vendors, or shade structures on-site, so come prepared. The trails are mostly flat but can be uneven, making strollers challenging.

Peak bird watching season runs October through March when migratory birds arrive. Summer months (April to June) can be extremely hot and less suitable for families. Monsoon season (July to September) may make trails muddy but attracts different wildlife.
