November through March offers the most pleasant weather for outdoor activities, with temperatures ranging 20-30°C (68-86°F). Visit on weekday mornings or late afternoons to avoid weekend crowds and the hottest part of the day. Fridays and Saturdays draw the biggest crowds.
Entrance fee is very affordable (around 5 AED, less than $2 USD per person), with additional charges for certain attractions within the park. Parking is available onsite. Basic food kiosks are present, but many families bring their own picnic supplies.
Best visited October through April when outdoor temperatures are comfortable. May through September can be extremely hot (40°C/104°F+), making midday visits challenging with children. The park remains open year round with extended hours on weekends.
The park has small kiosks and snack stands, but for fuller meals, head to nearby Wafi Mall (5 minutes away) which has international food courts including kid favorites like McDonald's and Pizza Hut. Al Reef Bakery nearby offers affordable shawarma and fresh juices.
