Plenty of free parking is available at the trailhead, and while there are no food facilities at the rental shop itself, downtown Winter Garden with numerous family restaurants is just a short ride west on the trail.

Fall through spring (October-April) offers the most comfortable riding weather. Summer can be hot and humid,go early if visiting June-August. The trail is open year-round and holiday weekends can be particularly busy.

Downtown Winter Garden (about 2 miles west on the trail) offers numerous family favorites including The Crooked Can Brewing Company with a kids menu and outdoor seating, or Sweet! by Good Golly Miss Holly for post-ride ice cream and treats.
