The trail is completely free and open 24/7, with ample free parking at multiple access points including Founders Park. Restrooms and water fountains are available at park connection points, but bring snacks and sunscreen as there's limited shade along portions of the trail.

Open year-round, but summer months (June-September) can be extremely hot and humid,plan shorter visits or go during cooler early morning/evening hours. Winter and spring (November-May) offer the most pleasant weather for completing the full trail. The path may be busier during school holidays and weekends.
