Visit on weekday mornings (7-10 AM) between October and April for the best shelling, fewer crowds, and comfortable temperatures. Early morning also means calmer waters and the chance to see dolphins. Avoid weekend afternoons during winter months when the beach is busiest with seasonal visitors.

Parking costs $5 per hour (cash or card accepted). The beach offers restrooms, outdoor showers, picnic shelters, and a playground near the parking area. The boardwalk to the beach is stroller-friendly, and there's plenty of shaded seating under Australian pines along the shore.

Open year-round, but winter months (December-March) bring the best shelling due to stronger currents and more shells washing ashore. Summer months (June-August) can be hot and humid with afternoon thunderstorms, so plan morning visits. Red tide occasionally affects water quality,check local reports before visiting.
