3. 3.Pack a cooler with snacks and lunch since food options are limited to vending machines,there are plenty of covered picnic areas with grills available.
4. 4.Rent paddleboats or bikes early in your visit before kids get too tired, and don't miss the Fragrance Garden near the main parking area,it's a hidden sensory gem.
5. 5.Download a park map from their website beforehand as the park is massive and easy to get turned around in with little ones.

Visit during the cooler months (November through April) for the most comfortable experience, ideally on weekday mornings when crowds are lighter and temperatures are mild. Weekends get busy, especially at the splash pad during warmer weather.

Entry costs $2 per hour (cash or card accepted at the gate) with a daily maximum of $10. Ample parking is available near different activity zones, and restrooms are located throughout the park. The splash pad is free to use once inside the park.

The splash pad typically operates year-round but may close for maintenance during cooler winter months. Summer brings hot temperatures and afternoon thunderstorms, so morning visits are ideal. Holiday weekends can be especially crowded, so plan accordingly.
