Entrance fee is $4 per vehicle (up to 8 people). The park has restrooms, picnic pavilions, and a seasonal campground, but no food service, so pack everything you need. Parking is available near the swim area and trailheads.

Summer (June-August) is peak season with warmest water temperatures but larger crowds. Spring and fall offer the best weather with fewer bugs. Winter can be chilly for swimming but great for hiking. Water levels can vary seasonally, affecting river access.

Head to Blackwater Canoe Rental & Campground (5 miles away) which has a small snack shop, or drive 15 minutes to Milton for family-friendly options like Pap's Place for casual burgers and seafood or Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant with a kids menu.
