Lettuce Lake Park offers families an authentic Florida nature experience with its stunning 3,500-foot boardwalk that winds through cypress swamps and over the Hillsborough River. Admission is $2 per vehicle (exact change recommended). The park has restrooms, picnic pavilions, and vending machines, but no restaurant, so bring snacks or a packed lunch. All main paths and the boardwalk are paved and wheelchair/stroller accessible.

Open year-round, but summer months (June-August) can be very hot and humid with aggressive mosquitoes. Spring and fall offer ideal weather for hiking. Wildlife is most visible during cooler winter months when animals are more active during daytime hours.
