Open year-round. Best visited October through March when temperatures are mild. Summer (June to August) can be extremely hot and humid, with occasional typhoons. During Chinese New Year, expect more local families visiting.

Tuen Mun Town Plaza (10-minute walk from the promenade) has a large food court with international and local options including McDonald's, Yoshinoya, and child-friendly dim sum restaurants. V City shopping mall also offers numerous family-friendly dining choices with high chairs and kid's menus available.
