Kathryn Albertson Park is a peaceful 41-acre urban oasis where families can enjoy nature without leaving Boise. Free admission and free parking available at the lot on Americana Boulevard. The park has no playground equipment or restrooms, so plan bathroom breaks accordingly. All paths are fully paved and accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, and wagons.

Spring brings baby ducklings and blooming flowers, making it an especially delightful time for young children. Winter visits are quieter with fewer waterfowl but offer peaceful snowy scenery. The park is open year-round with consistent 6 AM-8 PM hours daily.

Goldy's Breakfast Bistro (less than a mile away) serves excellent kid-friendly breakfast and lunch with a relaxed atmosphere, or grab pizza at Pie Hole on Overland Road about 2 miles from the park, which has a fun casual vibe families love.
